TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
On joining, all Operational Officers take part in an intensive programme which provides briefing on the organisation and IT training. After that, training, where required, becomes more role specific.
Case Officers will take part in a comprehensive programme which teaches them how to recruit and run agents.
Targeting and Reports Officers attend a training course providing the operational skills to plan and manage operations. It also covers collating, assessing and disseminating intelligence.
After that, training to enhance or broaden professional skills is provided at regular intervals. It will reflect your individual development needs, which will be identified during your performance appraisals. There may be opportunities to learn new languages, improve existing language skills and develop technical skills on in-house and external courses.
