APPLICATION PROCESS
First, familiarise yourself with the Nationality and Security criteria. Unfortunately, no matter how good your application submission is, we won't be able to accept it unless you meet these criteria, so please check.
Most of our Trades and Services roles are advertised in the press and on recruitment websites, so keep an eye out for vacancies. The advert will ask you to send your CV to an email address. The best applicants will be asked to fill out a form. It's quite long, but we're sure you'll understand the need for detail given the nature of the work we do. If you're successful at this stage, you'll then attend an interview.
If you are successful at this stage, you will move to the final stage of recruitment, which is security and medical clearance and reference checks. This is an in-depth look into your life, including your finances. We'll also ask you to have a medical and take a drugs test. Security vetting, which we're sure you'll understand is essential in the interests of national security, takes at least three months - and the whole application six months or more.
