£34,323 - £40,067 plus skills allowance if applicable.

For an experienced IT Systems Engineer, this is a unique opportunity to work within the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), identifying technical solutions and producing high-level technical designs to meet the organisation's business challenges.  With a proven background in a technical software team, a talent for problem solving and a fascination with all aspects of technology, you will help provide solutions that will help SIS gather intelligence overseas and protect the UK.

This key role within our rapidly developing Technical Solutions Options Centre will require you to carry out in-depth research and experimentation to provide an independent assessment of the available technical options for a range of customers.  As you'll be liaising widely with a wide range of internal contacts and external technical experts, your communication and presentation skills should be strong too.
