As the expert behind the planning and implementation of hardware into our main and backup computer suites, you'll be responsible for keeping vital intelligence and information secure and available.
This is about making the most of our space and power, and overseeing quality control - resolving requests for additional power, assessing works, negotiating schedules and more. That means getting involved with everything, from developing your team, to recording details of our hardware on Visio, to decommissioning unwanted equipment.
However, it's as much a communication role as a technical one. Advise teams of new developments, outline requirements for new systems and ensure everyone's aware of standard operating procedures, and you'll quickly build a high profile within SIS.
