CHIEF ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT
£56,100 - £79,714
Not only will you lead the development - and maintenance - of enterprise architecture throughout the whole of SIS - you'll also act as an ambassador and advocate for the area across the Service. From current state and future architectures to architectural roadmaps, referential architecture patterns and technology standards - you'll drive them forward.
A real strategic force within our IT department, you'll help define our future direction by conceptualising, launching and driving architectural, business and product policies. It's a role that's based on building the strongest relationships throughout the Service. This will begin with your Programme Managers - but will extend far wider as you provide advice on architecture and business modelling throughout SIS - and liaise with other Agency partners to optimise joint working opportunities. You'll also work closely with Senior Management to communicate risks and concerns. In fact, it will be a vital part of your role to ensure that our architecture adheres to the strictest security criterion.
As a lead Enterprise Architect for a business with large data assets and a world-wide presence, you've already built up extensive ICT industry experience. You've proven you're a talented business analyst and strategist, with a good knowledge of designing, delivering and supporting complex ICT systems. (You've also built up a strong knowledge of data protection laws). In addition, you've shown you're an inspirational manager who has already successfully co-ordinated the talents of technical, data, application and business architects. Above all, you have the interpersonal skills necessary to champion the Enterprise Architecture agenda throughout SIS.
