APPLICATIONS GROUP

The Applications Group is the part of SIS that develops and supports the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) systems (the computer based tools) on behalf of the Service. It's the Applications Group's task to buy, build, integrate and support computer-based software solutions (or applications). Development teams vary in size depending on the scale and complexity of the project requirements. People with experience in most mainstream languages and packages are required, however comprehensive training is available at all levels and is a key factor in the high staff retention rate enjoyed by this area.
