In SIS we operate globally to collect and analyse secret information in the interests of national security. Our Procurement and Logistics team is there to ensure our specialists have the right equipment and capability in locations all over the world. Whether it be the most cutting edge computer and communications systems on the market, or a piece of stationery such as a highlighter, your purchases will increase the efficiency of our teams and help us gather and process vital intelligence.
For the Head of Procurement role, you'll use your outstanding supplier negotiation and leadership skills to develop our procurement and logistics department at every level. (MCIPS membership is a must). As well as leading complex, high-value acquisition projects, you'll also take responsibility for ensuring our technology procurement gives us rapid access to new capabilities whilst achieving maximum value.
At Procurement Officer level, you'll use your initiative, analytical skills and procurement experience to undertake a range of project and contract work. With your strong people skills and rigorous attention to detail, you'll prove invaluable.
